Assembly Industry Services

BRP Services is a specialized training and education technical center for training fitters in the assembly industry. Operating since 2015, we offer course participants mandatory occupational health and safety training, mechanization courses, training of binders and crane operators, rescuing employees from crises when working at heights and a clerk driver's course.

The certification obtained with BRP Services is valid across all EU countries, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, North America and Australia.

The required certification can thus be obtained in one place, efficiently, without the need for further travel. The courses have a given syllabus, but can be adapted according to the client's requirements.

Certifications

ISO 45001: 2018

ISO 45001:2018 certified occupational safety applies across the company MB. The certification was issued on 21st of October 2021. We have obtained the international standard for occupational health and safety (OHS) management. This standard, which replaced OHSAS 18001, follows the approach of other management systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 and has an increased emphasis on management commitment, worker involvement and risk management. The standard specifies the requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system and provides guidance and procedures that enable organizations to create safe workplaces by preventing workplace injuries, illnesses, and fatalities and by proactively improving OH&S performance.

CSN EN 1090-2

We are also certified to CSN EN 1090-2:2018, Execution of steel structures and aluminium structures - Part 2, Technical requirements for steel structures. The certification was issued on 22nd of November 2021. This is a European standard that specifies requirements for the performance of steel structures as structures or parts thereof. The standard also includes requirements for the welding of reinforcing steel to structural steel. This European Standard assumes that the work is carried out with the necessary craftsmanship and on appropriate equipment, with the ability to carry out the work to the requirements of the specification, carried out to the requirements of this European Standard.

OHS and Fire Protection Training

Occupational health and safety training and fire protection training, also known abroad under the abbreviations CSCS, SPA, Curso de Preventivo, SSSTS, EMSS, SPA, OSHA, is mandatory training as per European Directive 92/57/EEC and Czech Law 262/2006 and 362/2005. The provided OHS course covers the curriculum given by law and the employer and is then adapted to the work of the fitter in the field of installation of steel structures.

The training includes general information on work safety, focused on various activities associated with steel structure assembly, where a brief overview of the trained subjects is written on the actual certificate. Leading positions will receive further training relevant to their undertaken duties, like risk prevention, evaluation of various activities, awareness of electrical appliances, general site behavior etc. The number of course participants is a maximum of 8 people per course. The training duration is 24 hours for laborer, and 32 hours of theoretical and practical exercises for supervisors. After completing the course, all pass the exam in writing, either at the training site or through our e-learning portal. Each graduate of the course receives a certificate valid 2 years.

Slinger induction is part of the basic health and safety training of each employee where the participants are subjected to the practical implementation of safe lifting procedures, binding methods and safe load practices, further described in training syllabus.

Forklift Truck - FLT

It is a dedicated training provided for all employees using forklift trucks, reach trucks or a hand-guided pallet jack with a maximum lifting capacity of 5t. Training is compliant with European and Czech standards and legislation ČSN EN ISO 3691-1 (268812). During the training, the activities are mainly focused on still structure assembly and FLT manipulation in the construction environment.

The length of the course is set at a minimum of 16 hours including theoretical and practical information, but can be adapted to the individual need of applicants and the scope of work performed at the project.

When written exam passed, the graduate will receive a forklift truck operator permit card valid 3 years. This card provides all legitimate data to authorities in case of inspection. If permit card not readable, NFC device might be used to view its data.

Mobile Elevated Working Platform – MEWP

This is a dedicated training provided for all employees using a mobile elevating work platform including mobile vertical, aerial telescopic boom platforms further specified at the back of the permit card. Training is compliant with European and Czech standards and legislation ČSN EN ISO 18878:2013. Theoretical knowledge is complemented by practical training at the polygon in the technical training center.

The length of the course is set at a minimum of 8 hours including theoretical and practical information, but can be adapted to individual need of applicants and the scope of work performed at the project.

When written exam passed, the graduate will receive a work platform operator permit card valid 5 years. This card provides all legitimate data to authorities in case of inspection. If permit card not readable, NFC device might be used to view its data.

Teleskopic Manipulator - TH

Is a dedicated training provided for all employees using a telescopic manipulator with a rotary tower with lifting capacity up to 5t. Training is compliant with European and Czech standards and legislation ČSN EN ISO 3691-1 and ČSN EN ISO 3691-2. Theoretical knowledge is complemented by practical training at the polygon in the technical training center.

The length of the course is set at a minimum of 16 hours including theoretical and practical information, but can be adapted to individual need of applicants and the scope of work performed at the project.

When written exam passed, the graduate will receive a teleskopic manipulator permit card valid 3 years. This card provides all legitimate data to authorities in case of inspection. If permit card not readable, NFC device might be used to view its data.

Hoist & Slinger Training

This is an additional training for standing forklift truck and telehandler operators which are involved in lifting procedures of the suspended loads under the European and Czech directives ČSN ISO 12 480-1, ČSN ISO 7531, 8792, ČSN ISO 8792 and ČSN EN 1492-1.

Such responsibilities include:

This additional training is included in the time span of the FLT and TH course. The FLT and TH permit holder is automatically qualified in hoist and slinging activities.

Work at heights and Rescue from Heights

We provide 'Work at Height' training, which is focused on the main subject of activity for companies involved in the construction of racking and stacking systems and is prepared in accordance with the standards of legislation in the regions of current operation. The aim is to prepare employees, not only in the scope of the Act 309/2006 Coll. on ensuring other conditions of occupational health and safety in the employment relationship and Government Regulation No. 362/2005 Coll. on more detailed requirements for occupational safety and health at workplaces with a risk of falling from height or depth, but also for skills according to OSHA or CSCS standards.

EVAQHub® is a unique system dedicated to rescue suspended casualties. It can be applied where the situation precludes mechanization access.
The training of this rescue system includes:

Introduction to the EVAQHub® system
Practical procedures and applications at work
Rescue theory
Rescuing of an unconscious suspended casualty
Examples in workplace

All aspects of the course significantly increase the safety of employees when working at heights.
The course lasts 3 hours and takes place on a polygon in a technical training center, and if the situation requires, the training is carried out directly at the workplace. It is completed with a certificate valid for 3 years.

Company Driver Training

Training of drivers is ordered by the Labor Code 262/2006. The aim of this course is to achieve comprehensive knowledge in the management of company cars and property on business trips for employers. The predisposition to this course is a valid driving license according to Act 361/2000 Coll. on road traffic and driving ability to drive a motor vehicle.

During the training are covered the following topics:

Rescue contacts
Identifiable risks
Safety instructions
Handling of chemicals
Employee duties

An employee trained in this way will guarantee the ability and correct handling of the motor vehicle in and out of the work area. Certificate validity is specified by the employer.

Methodology

Miroslav Dočkal

Health and Safety Technician

Conducts courses, creates the syllabus of trainings, and acts as a control on projects. He is government-certified under the ROVS (MSMT – 32964/2018 – 1/ 438 issued on 5.12.2018).

Stanislav Turke

Health and Safety Executive (HSE)

He is government-certified under the ROVS association (ROVS/4672/PRE/2016 issued 02.11.2016). He conducts courses and is eligible to issue a wide range of certifications.

Facilities

Our technical center has both interactive classrooms and halls for practical training. For practical training, we use demo mechanization and a polygon for training work at heights and rescue operations.

Partners

Training is available for partner companies' employees of BRP Services. Without a valid employment contract with a partnering company, the certifications and mechanization operator cards are invalid.
